Simply put, this is an action movie about a guy named John Wick, played by Keanu Reeves. Without giving away too much, basically Wick, a retired hit man kinda dude, goes on a revenge mission; vowing to kill the guy(s) involved in stealing his car and murdering his adorable beagle puppy. An overreaction you might think, but the car was a '69 Mustang. And the puppy was a final gift from his wife that recently died of natural causes. So because Wick is angry, upset, and really had nothing better to do, he slips back into his old, but well fitted hit man shoes and proceeds to blindly go after those responsible. And everyone should be trembling in their boots because Wick is described not as the boogeyman. But the guy you hire to kill the boogeyman. I'd never seen so many double taps to the head in one movie.

Notably, my favorite part of the movie was the musical score. It is a great and entertaining balanced mix of rock and techno, which somehow gave the movie the perfect vibe of darkness, anger, and just overall complimented the choreographed killing and professional swaggering actions of a hit man hellbent on revenge. And really, a bloody revenge movie is nothing without the right soundtrack to convey those feelings...and head shots. So many head shots...
